The 20mm (.75″) tweeters are designed to fit most factory tweeter locations. The diaphragm is protected with a grill making these best suited in installations near handles and other high-traffic areas. The tweeters can be used with or without Elite Components as the tweeters come with an in-line second order -12dB/octave crossover.  When used with Elevate Components the in-line crossover is simply discarded. 

 

The tweeters are available in two different diaphragm types:

Pure Silk Membrane – Silk is a very well damped material which allows for smooth true sound reproduction.

Silk Infused Aluminum Membrane – Aluminum is a rigid material great for accentuating the higher frequencies in a tweeters range.  The silk is infused on the reverse side of the dome to dampen the aluminum and preserve the high frequency definition.
